Equity Capital Solutions ("ECS"), based in Australia, is a success-based global financial organisation operating worldwide to raise equity capital, source funds and underwrite investment proposals and/or projects.
ECS takes complete responsibility for the entire fund raising process and is remunerated by the Client after funds have been successfully raised subject to a mandatory contribution towards travelling and accommodation expenses (see Travel Contribution).
If a Business Plan is already available ECS will review it at no cost.
ECS will consider any proposal or project in any country and imposes no formal minimum or maximum financial requirement but usually contemplates proposals between US1m and US$50m, however, it will and does go outside this range.
ECS was established in 2003 by David Richard McDonald, an Australian resident, to provide affordable alternative sources of funds for entrepreneurs and others. Mr McDonald has raised funds for a variety of projects over 30 years. He was previously a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Registered Tax Agent and Registered Company Auditor. He is the Founder and Principal of ECS, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia* and a Director of several listed public companies.

Funds may be required to exploit an idea, invention or product, commence a new business or project, acquire or expand an existing business or purchase properties for development, however, obtaining funds is rarely easy.
Those seeking funds may borrow from a bank or other financial institution secured against personal or corporate assets or negotiate to sell part of the project to sophisticated investors, high-net-worth individuals, venture capitalists or the public.
The capital raising industry has its share of dubious individuals and institutions seeking high "upfront fees" with no guarantee of success. Even legitimate funders invariably demand upfront fees that cannot be justified.
