Our Founding Principal

ECS was established in 2003 by David Richard McDonald, an Australian resident, to provide affordable alternative sources of funds for entrepreneurs and others. Mr McDonald, has successfully sourced funds for a variety of projects over 30+ years. He was previously a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Registered Company Auditor and Registered Tax Agent. He is currently a Fellow of Finsia ( www.finsia.com), a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (www.companydirectors.com.au), a Member of AVCAL - the Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited (www.avcal.com.au), a member of the Australian Association of Angel Investors Limited (www.aaai.net.au), the Honorary Consul-General in Australia for the Somali Republic and a Director of several listed public companies. He is the "driving force" behind ECS and sourcing funds is his passion.
